WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THE LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY?
Carroll / Ochs will make necessary repairs and replacements at no charge that prove to be manufacturing defects. For extra coverage, we recommend insuring your jewelry as the warranty does not cover normal wear, loss, theft, tampering, or the center stone. Save your sales receipt as proof of purchase. Proof is required for warranties to be valid. Warranties start on the day of purchase. Lifetime limited warranties are in addition to the rights provided by law.
THE WARRANTY SPECIFICS REGARDING FINE JEWELRY:
Manufacturing defects within 365 days of purchase is covered. The following is not covered: loss of diamonds larger than 0.25 carat in weight, products that are damaged, abused, misused, or improperly cared for, normal wear and tear or damage caused by impacts or accidents, and anyone other than the original purchaser of the product.

Fashion & Other: Manufacturing defects within 30 days of purchase.
Repairs: Our repairs come with a one year warranty on the work we perform. This does not guarantee parts untouched by the jeweler. Before and after photos may be taken for your protection and reference. No matter how large or small the job, your jewelry is respected, secure in our vault, and insured for its stay at Carroll / Ochs Jewelers.
WHAT STEPS ARE TAKEN WHEN A WARRANTY IS ISSUED?
We will first examine the product and decide if it is covered under the limited warranty. Then products covered under warranty will either be repaired or replaced at Carroll / Ochs Jewelers discretion.
WHAT IS AN APPRAISAL, AND WILL CARROLL / OCHS PROVIDE ME WITH ONE?
An appraisal is a detailed document describing your ring. This service is provided at no charge with your purchase. Professional appraisals are used for insuring your rings and keeping record of belongings.
DOES CARROLL / OCHS PRICE MATCH?
Your purchase is backed up with a price match guarantee. If you find a similar diamond at a lower price within 30 days of your purchase, simply contact us. We require adequate proof of the product and price in order to fulfill a price match. Price matching diamonds require a copy of the diamond certification - this is to ensure that your diamond purchase has comparable brilliance, scintillation, and fire.
WHAT IS CARROLL / OCHS RETURN OR EXCHANGE POLICY?
100 Days on Engagement & Wedding Bands:
We want you and your partner to love your wedding rings. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the ring(s) within 100 days of receipt with proof of purpose. We will give you a full refund by your original payment method.
30 Days on Jewelry & Watches:
All in-stock merchandise is returnable in new and unused condition within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Full refund will be issued to original payment method.
Special orders, custom work, and all other returns that fall outside of this return policy will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Altered merchandise may be subject to a return fee. Unless faulty, we may refuse the return, exchange, or credit.
CAN I UPGRADE MY DIAMOND AT CARROLL / OCHS?
We guarantee that your diamond will be valued for trade-in at 100% of its original purchase price. Simply choose a diamond no less than double the value of your trade. See store for trade-in details.
Disclosure: Carroll / Ochs complementary services, warranties, guarantees, return policy, and upgrade policy are non-transferable and are only valid for the original purchaser. Original receipt may be required.
