Hello! My name is Bernie Ochs and I am the president of Carroll/Ochs Jewelers. I started this business with the intention of offering the finest quality diamonds and jewelry at the most affordable prices.

What makes Carroll/Ochs Jewelers different from other jewelry stores is that each of my employees puts in the extra energy to please the customer before, during and after the sale. I want all of my customers to feel as though every effort possible was made to make their visit wonderful.

Our relaxed, friendly atmosphere gives our customers a stress-free place to make a purchase for that special occasion. We have a vast array of diamonds, fine jewelry and watches. We also specialize in custom designs for the customer who wants a "one of a kind" piece of jewelry.

I attend several buying shows a year to stay on top of all the latest fashionable trends, as well as to make purchases for the traditional customer. Whatever your jewelry needs, Carroll/Ochs Jewelers is here to please you.

When he was 15 years old, Bernie Ochs was hired by a family jewelry business, where he continued to work through high school and college. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, the same family jewelry business wanted him to manage one of their jewelry stores. Bernie did just that, until eventually he decided to open his very own jewelry store.

In October of 1987, Bernie Ochs Jewelers opened its doors to the public in Monroe, Michigan. He teamed up with Ron Carroll in March of 1990 to open a second store in Toledo, Ohio. This union became Carroll/Ochs Jewelers. Since then, Ron has retired and the Toledo store was sold, leaving Carroll/Ochs Jewelers in its present Monroe, Michigan location.

For the past 35 years, no matter where our stores were located, we have strived to grow and offer exceptional diamonds, jewelry and watches at competitive prices. Our services are designed to help our customers find the perfect piece of jewelry for any occasion. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for or simply want a unique piece, Carroll/Ochs specializes in custom designs.

Monroe, Michigan is a wonderful city of approximately 20,000 residents nestled along the River Raisin. An area rich in history and the spectacular natural beauty of our parks, the river, and the lakeshore, Monroe is home to many historic buildings, local businesses and a vibrant arts community. Monroe offers a small town feel with easy access to Detroit, Ann Arbor and Toledo, making it a great place to call home.
